Hi everybody,
Greetings! It's been a while, but I have finally finished putting together the zine I started a year ago about foreigners in Korea. The official title is "Outlanders: Tales of Korea."
By way of special thanks, I will be having a contributors' party on Sunday Dec. 7th from 3pm-6pm at Le Saint-Ex in It'aewon (please don't be too late). There will be plenty of wine (gratis) and fine French food provided by the suave and worldly owner, Benjamin Joinau, and his most excellent staff.
In the interest of good will, those who did not contribute are also welcome to come and mingle with the talent, some of whom may actually be rather famous. Contributors will receive multiple free copies of the zine, of course, but if you did not contribute, you are also welcome to have a copy or two as well. Bringing along a bottle of wine in exchange would be nice, or else small donations will also be appreciated but by no means necessary. This zine will not be available in stores, so this is what is referred to as a one-time offer.
I may be having another party at the end of this year or early next, because I am making 6 more zines but will not be able to finish them by the 7th. Life's hard for the white man in Korea!
In any case, I look forward to seeing everyone, and will contact contributors individually if I have any last-minute editing questions.
Cheers,
Scott Bug, Insa-dong
